Action Sports Magazine - Nathan Fletcher

Did you know Nathan Fletcher the moto rider? He might still ride but I don't think he gets near as much time as his talents would like. Fletcher was one of a handfull of guys doing can cans and nac nacs right when they were first being done on dirt bikes (circa 1994-1995). Jeremy McGrath had made the nac nac famous and Brian Swink was the first to throw down a can can (pictured in a black / white photo over a huge uphill triple at an AMA Outdoor National). I originally met Nathan (Trigger Gum, Cameron Steele) while filming some B moto flicks for Mark Bradley (Sick Air, What Up, Throttle Junkies).

My cousin Zemi also made an appearance throwing some early cans. Point is that Nathan Fletcher was extremely gifted and cruised right into our world and started doing things that not everybody was doing at the time. If he would have continued full time you would know about it by now. He would probably be right with those on top if not reinventing the wheel. Hope to ride with you again someday, Fletch, and thankx for hooking my dad up with Rick Rock and a sikk board (still riding it to this day) for me when I came back from death (7/22/96).
