Action Sports Magazine - Nikki Danielson

Seriously.....how sick is this shot of Nikki Danielson back in '08 at the old Jack Murphey Stadium (San Diego) for the World Championships of Freestyle Moto X.

Always one of my favorite riders in freestyle, Danielson is capable of throwing tricks bigger than most any other rider on the course due to his lenky frame. It takes him 2x as long to get to his full extension but when it happens it is unmistacabley HUGE!! I got to ride with Nikki back in his rookie days 2000-2002 when he was earning his stripes. At the age of 16, riding as a complete unknown on a clapped out RM 125, Nikki was doing the biggest (Super) Barhops in the FMX world. We hear Nikki is happy and healthy and lightning could strike the podium of any of his upcoming events still left in 2009. ESPN's Ryan Leyba loves him some good Nikki to so check back there often as well. I expect this Metal Mulisha dark knight to make more tricks that no one else is doing at this time.
