SEO - Use Action on YouTube to Drive Action Off YouTube

YouTube want to start helping drive traffic from their site to your own website. It's an overlay on a video you post that is supposed to help send traffic from YouTube to you. hmmmm.... I'm a little skeptical about this. Why would YouTube want you to leave their site? If I'm not on their site, I do not click their ads, and they do not generate revenue from me...
